A Little About Me...
I am originally from DeKalb, IL. I went to DeKalb High School where I participated in basketball, track, soccer, math team, Spanish club, peer tutoring and National Honor Society along with being a basketball and football manager. I went onto college at Illinois Wesleyan University to run track and become a high school math teacher. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education and a Coaching minor. I spent my summers working at my parents' pharmacy as a pharmacy technician and coaching a club track team. My husband, Zach, also went to Wesleyan as a track athlete and now works at CAT in the Tech Center in Mossville. We have a 2 year old son, Ben, who was born on July 4th, 2009 - our little firecracker ☺ AND now we have a baby, Sadie, who was born Labor Day weekend, September 3rd, 2011 - something about holidays!
This is my seventh year at LCHS. I teach Enriched Algebra, Standard Algebra, and a class called Principles of Engineering. I used to coach girl's track but now just volunteer whenever I have time. Go Rockets! I love to play and watch sports, especially basketball, football, and track. My favorite Pro sports teams are the Cubbies (sadly), the Bears, and the Bulls!
