All Standard Alg: we did the 1.5 notes (day 1) together, HW - Day 1 on the P.36 handout (#11-25 odd, 39-42, & 48-56)
All Enriched Alg: We did 1.8 notes (front side) & only #1 & 2 on the back side of the 1.8 worksheet for today, we will finish the rest tomorrow. Go to your class page to see the updated syllabus for this week.
POE: need your sketches done on the 1.1.6 project packet tonight - measurements will be done tomorrow.
I'm a bad updater this week... however today is very important!
ALL standard Algebra classes have a MID-CHAPTER QUIZ tomorrow!! Everyone has a chance for lots of extra credit points if you can prove to me that you studied for the quiz. This could include doing practice quizzes online and submitting them, it could include re-doing problems from the notes or homework and turning them in. It could include doing odd problems and checking your answers in the back of the book as you go, and then turning that in. If you can come up with something else, as long as there's proof of studying, I'll take it!
7th/8th hr Enr Alg - turned in 1.6 practice worksheet, went through most of 1.7 notes, and were given a 1.7 handout from page 52 for homework (both classes should skip the word problems, and 7th hour should also skip #33 to 44)
8th hr POE - continue construction of mechanisms project

1st Hr Alg - Turned in P.19 in class work from Monday, did the 1.4 notes for day 1, HW - #1-15 on 1.4 practice worksheet (front side) and then #13-20 on the mid-chapter review (you did up till #12 yesterday)
2nd Hr Alg - Turn in 1.3 worksheet by tomorrow, did the 1.4 notes for day 1, HW - #1-15 on 1.4 practice worksheet (front side) and then #13-20 on the mid-chapter review (you did up till #12 yesterday)
5th Hr Alg - Turn in 1.3 worksheet by tomorrow, didn't get to the 1.4 notes, HW - #13-20 on the mid-chapter review (you did up till #12 yesterday)
6th & 7th Hr Enr Alg - P.37 handout (#43-61, 64, 67, 68) done in class and finished for homework, also need to read 1.6 notes for homework and do the 4 problems at the end
8th Hr POE - began 1.1.6 project, HW - make an official sketch, with descriptions, and a parts list for tomorrow (using the agreed upon idea from you and your partner, ideally)
1st hr Alg: finished openers & turned in the opener sheet, finished the 1.3 foldable, did 1.3 practice examples for notes, HW - 1.3 practice ws
2nd hr Alg: finished openers & turned in the opener sheet, went over the the P.13 handout (#15-35 odd, 36, 38, 45, 47, 51, 53, 61), made the 1.3 foldables, HW - finish the foldables if not done!
5th hr Alg: finished openers & turned in the opener sheet, went over the the P.13 handout (#15-35 odd, 36, 38, 45, 47, 51, 53, 61) including doing #36 & 38 together, HW - do the 1.3 foldables
6th & 7th hr Enr Alg: started the 1.5 notes packet, didn't finish, so NO HOMEWORK :)

8th hr POE: should be doing activity 1.1.2 for homework - it's due TOMORROW!
1st hr Alg: took notes from 1.2 on your own notebook paper using the online book, HW - P.13 handout (#15-35 odd, 36, 38, 45, 47, 51, 53, 61)
2nd & 5th hr Alg: took some of the 1.2 notes on your own notebook paper - didn't finish, so your HW is only #15-29 odd on P.13 handout)
6th & 7th hr Enr Alg: went over 1.4 day 1 answers to the 1.4 practice ws (front side), finish 1.4 day 2 notes and did back side of 1.4 practice ws, HW - Mid-Chapter Quiz Review
8th hr POE: should be doing activity 1.1.2 for homework - try to finish tonight, but if you don't, it's due FRIDAY!
Sorry - a little late with this blog! :)
1st hr Alg: Homework over the weekend was on P.7 (#16-30, 34, 40) so we went over questions, turned it in, and just play "i have, who has" using concepts from section 1.1, NO HW!
2nd & 5th hr Alg: Finished our "foldable" notes from section 1.1, went over some examples - HW is P.7 #16-30, 34, & 40 (several people finished in class)
6th & 7th hr Enr Alg: went over 1.3 answers (put it in your binders), did day 1 of 1.4 notes, HW - #1-15 on 1.4 practice worksheet
8th hr POE: did most of the Gears powerpoint & notes, HW - do at least #1-17 on activity 1.1.2
